Film #4: The Devil and Daniel Johnston (2005)

The Devil and Daniel Johnston is a 2006 documentary film about the noted American eccentric artist Daniel Johnston. It chronicles Johnston's life from childhood up to the present, with an emphasis on his mental illness, and how it manifested itself in demonic self-obsession. The film was directed by Jeff Feuerzeig and produced by Henry S. Rosenthal

  1. I missed The Ruins party! I accidentally had Leon sent to me, went out of town and worked a lot. Leon was awesome by the way. The Ruins villain was disappointing, the psychological dilemmas felt fairly real, the gore didn't seem frivolous and the acting decent. I guess I'm not a big horror guy, I felt the lame villain made the improved plot a wash. On to Danny boy!

  2. Haha. That's a funny coincidence I got sent Leon also before I could change it. No big deal because Leon is a fantastic movie. Probably one of my favorite movie assassins ever. Next to ninjas of course.
